GENERAL
How fast can you get to me?
Most requests inside the Austin core get a same-day or next-day appointment. Suburbs and outlying cities are typically scheduled within 2–3 days.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — ATX MountWorks is licensed and fully insured for both residential and commercial installation work.
Do I need to buy my own mount?
No. We carry fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts for most TV sizes, or we're happy to install a mount you've already purchased.
Do you work on apartments and condos?
Yes, including buildings with HOA or property-management restrictions — we can use non-drilling or reversible mounting methods where required.
PRICING
How much does TV mounting cost?
Standard wall mounting starts at $99 and typically runs $99–$250 depending on TV size, wall material, and whether cable concealment is included. We always quote a flat rate before the visit.
Is cable concealment included?
Basic mounting doesn't include in-wall cable hiding by default, but it's a common add-on starting at $79 and we'll quote it together with the mount.
Do you charge a trip fee?
Not within our standard 30-mile service radius. Beyond that, a small per-mile trip fee applies, which we'll disclose in your quote.
TECHNICAL
Can you mount a TV on brick, stone, or tile?
Yes. We carry masonry anchors and tile-rated hardware and take extra care on tile and stone to avoid cracking.
Can you mount a TV above my fireplace?
Yes — we check for gas lines and heat exposure first, and can install a drop-down mantel mount if the mantel sits too high for comfortable viewing.
What if there's no stud where I want the TV?
We use rated toggle or hollow-wall anchors engineered for the TV's weight, or relocate slightly to hit a stud if that's the safer option.
Will the cables be completely hidden?
With an in-wall cable kit, yes — power and HDMI run inside the wall for a fully cordless look. Where in-wall isn't permitted, we use a paintable surface raceway instead.
